I'm not one who enjoys basing at the best of times and I invariably seem to leave it until the amount of it I have to do daunts me.
Last weekend I bit the basing bullet and based up the 'Covid battalions', including two battalions of the 4th Vistula which came out quite nicely.
I can't see them hitting the table any time soon, but they are at least ready to now.

Very nice!
I especially liked your Italian Wars set-up on your blog. The minis are great and the terrain marvelous.
So you are painting using Humbrol paints. Damn, when I first started in this hobby (early 70's) that is all there was available. I loved those paints.
