Title: More from the Haitian Revolution
Post by: yar68 on July 12, 2020, 04:38:47 PM
Here's a link to my blog on my latest unit, Haitian armed with handweapons. The figures are a mix of Trent and Wargames Foundry.

Nice work.

The Haitians stalled LeClerc's army long enough for yellow fever to finish him and most of his troops. If they had rolled over, LeClerc was to go on to New Orleans. Instead of the Louisiana Purchase we would have had a French Revolutionary army at our back door...

I like the colour scheme Ray.  Your choice of figures reminds me that Lancashire's archived Vendean 15mm can be used for this period.  I'd been hesitating.
