Title: Can Anyone Identify This Tower Please?
Post by: Atheling on 17 July 2020, 01:33:06 PM
Sorry for the low quality and size of the picture.

I'm desperate to get my hands on this model- does anyone know who the manufacturer is please?

It's a 28mm scale resin(?) casting

Cheers :)

If it's the same one that appears in this photo...

...which I can't be sure of, but it looks like it might be, then the answer is Monolith. Still available, according to their website (in the Holy Land section).

Damn...... Monolith seem to have stopped trading. I don't know if this is permanent thing or not.

I'll fire off an email and see what's what.

The most recent of several ‘Is Monolith still trading?’ threads is running here...

(I think the answer is: he isn’t).

Yeah, I've been following that one. It's such a shame as Monolith had a lot of very good resin pieces.  :'(

Totally agree Darrell, I’ve got quite a lot of his stuff. To be honest though, it was always a bit hit and miss as to when you’d get your toys. Sometimes a couple of weeks. On another occasion I recall it took months. I think in the end, he probably just gave up the unequal fight. Perhaps the management / admin side of things just proved too much. It’s not uncommon in wargames businesses, especially part time ones. The desire and creativity is strong. The necessary organisational and time management skills often turn out to be less so, alas. Pity. It was a great range, and he seemed a decent chap on the couple of occasions I exchanged emails etc.
