Here's a Solido T34/85 with "bedspring" anti-panzerfaust armor. I made this before I saw that etched brass sets of bedspring armor are now available from Hauler. Based on a photo of a weary looking Soviet TC in a rubbled city, SMG at hand on the turret, I added an SMG and snipped little bits of metal staples and painted them to look like empty brass casings. Hope you like it.

Looks grand! I'll admit I'd never heard of this bedspring business - did it really work? ???
The casings look the business 8) 8); how did you make the bedsprings?

A fantastic model. The 'Bedsprings' look very Russian.

Is there an online link to this photo?

Yes, I would like to see this picture too.
Good job on the tank. It seems the paint filled in a few gaps in the mesh though. Patches to fix the holes? ;)

"how did you make the bedsprings? "
I used plasticard to make frames, then glued screen door mesh on one side. Then I used carpet staples as the frames to fasten them to the tank, scoring a pit into the diecast metal with a dremel drill to help seat the staple. And yeah, in the rush to finish the project I used too much paint in some spots on the mesh. I'll have to go back and fix those. The whole process was pretty time consuming. Next time -- a Hauler etched set for about $10!!

Where can i find that, i'm guessing it could work for a 1/56 tank aswell ?
Vanvlak, Bar armor, grille armor, slat armor or "boom shields" are more common names =)
