Recently Wargames Atlantic has been previewing many images of their new Einherjar miniatures. These are 28mm Science Fiction Space Dwarfs. Maybe you want to call them Squats or Forge Fathers to fit in with other gaming systems, but to me they look like replacement proxies for Imperial Guards. That said, I see many hints that Wargames Atlantic will eventually release their own sets of rules so you don't have to use their figures as proxy miniatures only.
If these guys interest you, come on over to MCM to read more...

Wargames Atlantic has been putting out some great stuff. I was not convinced by the idea of these Space Dwarfs until I saw them. Now I really like them. I may have to get some even though my sci-fi project is on hold for now.

They look good

I didn't get this set (yet), but I did go for the spiders :o :-*, if I like them, who knows what else I may get?

I am going to get my hands on a few Wargames Atlantic sets to test them out for myself. They do look really nice.

Not terrifically short looking as dwarves go though?

Yeah but to be fair, if you have never used their line this doesn't really help.
Need the pic vs other more widely known miniatures.
Now, what did I do with that pic?
