this is the first part of my celtic village (scratch buildings).... with a progress. Sorry for a lot of pictures.

I enjoys scratch building but cheated and used the Hovels building.....more importantly, I used their wattle fencing!

Yours does look fine though...I haven’t quite the patience! I love the “pigpen?” Off the roundhouse, nice idea.

One wee tip....I may be wrong and they may have has saws....but I rough chopped the end of my stacked fire logs.

Yes, I really love Hovels, but there are limited stuffs for celtic buildings.
In general, I like to create my own buildings and terrain (as you can see some of them in the signature).

Post by: Cubs on 22 July 2020, 09:27:39 PM: Love it. I still have a horde of old cardboard inners from used sticky tape rolls, which one day I planned to make into a Celtic village. The old Warhammer Ancient Battles rulebook has a lot to answer for.

Nice fencing, I should probably try that one day.

I am doing some similar buildings for my Congo village but have yet to decide on how to do wattle.
I have tried nylon string (looks too uniform) & twine (too hairy).
