Quar Tankette
Don’t those two words, ‘Quar’ and ‘tankette’, just warm the cockles of your soul? Send little shivers of anticipation down your spine? Granted, this isn’t that huge battle tank made just for the Quar; nor is it some WWI sponsoned behemoth, rumbling through a break in the trenches and barbed-wire. No, this is just a little tankette; in particular, an Italian TKS, converted into Quar goodness, with a sculpted commander:

The paintjob has already commenced, and I may actually be able to post finished pictures later in the day, although it’s possible my six-pack of assorted Michelob wheat beers will slow me down. Cheers.

I really like it so far. Nice sculpting on the TC. Enjoy those beers it's Saturday afterall (and too hot to do anything else in Texas anyway...).
-
Quar and tankette two of the best words in the english language lol
-
Just thought I'd offer friendly insight: TKS is a Polish tankette, not an Italian tankette;) Great conversion, just the same!

Ah. Thanks.
-
Definitely is a teeny-tiny one. Though at that size I'd prefer a wheeled automobile over an armored slug. ;)
-
Ah. Thanks.
I'm into really obscure armor, so I thought I'd use my useless knowledge for something good;) Look forward to seeing it painted up!

Quartastic :o Don't you just love what you can do in the Quar world? Keep it up. It's a really cool concept Mancha and I like the Driver and the Jacket you gave him
and speaking of .

Awesome! :-*

My kids showed up a day earlier than expected and I've not had a chance to finish the paintjob. However, I'm working on it at night after the kids are in bed and I should be able to take some pics tomorrow morning.

That is an awesome conversion. Looking forward to seeing it painted.

Looks brilliant.

Here's a sort of temporary painted picture. I still have work to do, but I'm actually feeling bad that I promised a painted picture some days ago, so here goes:

More to come in a day or two.

That looks Great!

Who makes the model? What scale is it, or rather was it before it was Quared.
-
There's something really charming about those Quar models. You've done a great job there, Mancha. I hope to do something similar with my Scrunts *sigh*
-
Wonderful stuff. Anything Quar related always makes me smile, but in a good way ;)
