Excellent news!
Well done, Fuzzy :D
Still not sure if the tripods are exactly what I'd envisage for Wellsian VSF, but they are beautiful models and work very well in your game. That's probably a "yes" vote for them, then lol
-
Congratulations :D
Excellent write up. Looks like it was a great game.

that look awesome.............................

Great looking game :-* :-* :-*
Some very, very nice figures and vehicles.
Any chance of some larger photos ???
Especially any chance of some close ups of the vehicles and ships. please?

superb stuff..nice to see your hard work on those walkers paying off and looking so good on the tabletop, as well as the other scratchbuilds.
well done

Awesome looking game, and btw, a great blog. Loved the step by step on the dauntless and would be interested in knowing more about the Hermes.

Wonderful stuff. :)

I just went back and had another look at your site :o :o
The Hermes is stunning :-* :-*
You need to make sure pictures are added to the Aeronef thread.
I really like some of the details. :-*
The rails are very, very neat. :o :-*
I tried that before and couldn't get it to look right. :'(
I also like how you have done the louvers on the engine area. How did you make them?
HMLS Dauntless is lovely (not sure if that is right word for a large steel monster, but you know what I mean lol).
You whole army is a very good advert for Eureka miniatures.
Thanks for all the eye candy :D

Thanks for the great comments. The hermes rails were the hardest part of the whole build. Gamer Mac, the engine louvers are just a particular type of styrene sheet (type and brand escapes me now). I just cut rectangles of it and stuck them on.
Cheers
Fuzzy.

Love those walkers! Good sized project to undertake and cheers to you for doing so!
-
Too right you should have won, that is outstanding stuff. If only we could pool resources a legendary game would be had. Alas, 9000 miles puts the kybosh on that!

Some nice pictures of our war of the worlds display have been posted on our club website. Check it out. Their is some great nonVSF stuff... Check out the War of the Ring Display with a heap of mumakils!!

There are some wonderful games on your site - not just the War Of The Worlds one. Wargaming is obviously thriving in the land of Aus :D
This is my favourite pic:

Absolutely barking mad and very well made. Fantastic!
