Based on a Halo 3 model and a GW Catachan figure, this is the first plane of my Nahcatac fighter/bomber squad:

MORE PICS (AFTER MODIFICATIONS) FURTHER DOWN!
Rudi
Point taken, he does look like he's borrowed his dad's hopper though and can only just reach the peddles, just the scale mix, not your conversion.
Well, not really, though it might look like that (because, contrary to a classic plane he views the world around him through the screens rather than over the hood): he does fits the command seat perfectly, but placing him there would mean a major conversion of the figure's legs (lazy me..., I just have cut away the inside of the legs and added some Magic Sculp to his back to make him bend over a little lol), so I chose to make him sit at the tip of his seat, looking rather concentrated at his screens...
But... Your wish is my command... lol How about this (repositioned):

Whatever suits you best matey appreciate the explanation, you could do with some heavy weapon arms (the heavy bolter or autocannon set) as they will give you yoke/stick holding hands.
Oh and a long white silk scarf and flying helmet is a must what! what!
OK, guys, this is the final version....
First: the reason why the pilot needn't be able to look over the plane's hood. This is actually what he sees (more or less, difficult to take a sharp pic) under the hood. The (big) blue dot in the centre is his front view screen (though he can swith to any angle using the small keyboards on top of his control handles). The screen does not only project an image of what he's looking at, but also on screen crosshairs etc. Should his electronics fail completely, he looses this tool, but he would then be a sitting duck anyway... lol

Second: thanks to your help, the pilot is now firm in his seat lol. No helmet, I'm afraid, but the scarf around his head is now white with a little red dot (Rising Sun) on the front. I repositioned his head to make him look straight forward by adding a (blue) neckscarf (two white ones wouldn't look so good). I extended the grips so that he is holding them in his hands and added a (vertical) small touchscreen keybord to each (made look the whole thing more convincing).
Ready to rock and roll!!!!!

Thx, guys!!!
