Title: Muskets & Katanas
Post by: craigjwoodfield on 19 August 2020, 01:14:23 AM
Morning all

Attached are some draft rules for adapting Studio Tomahawk's excellent Muskets & Tomahawks rules for late 19th century Japan.

Very much a work in progress. I will happily compile any suggestions and update in a month or two, should there be sufficient interest.

cheers

It's very nice but in my opinion you should inspire yourself from the "Redcoat..." supplement and add special rules to the different forces. It gives a special flavor to each army  ;)

Hello,
I missed this topic, has there been any evolution since the first version? Does someone have an idea of the way to distinguish  the different types of artillery (wooden cannon, Sengoku era cannon, modern artillery and machine gun)?
And for irregular infantry, such as the militia, which method should be used to enable more organised/modernised militias such as the Kiheitai to be played?
Thanks
