Hello all
I´m after 15mm figures suitable for Robert the Bruce and the scottish wars of independence so i need your advises please.
European and UK distributors only.
Thank you for your help. :)

I'm not much of a one to ask about 15's but I think you will be able to get away with quite a bit as regards armours etc as well, they are not going to be that visible.
Clothing wise that might be more obvious so I'd stick to Early HYW ranges (obvious I know).
I'll leave it up to someone who knows their 15's to comment any further :)
Oh, Martin at Vexillia would be the man to ask about Medieval 15's for any period.

Have a look at QRF's 15mm Feudal Scots Range and see what you think. If you sign up for their newsletter you get a 10% discount.
The old Steve Shaw Feudal Castings Scots sometimes turn up on Ebay. I buy every pack of them I see.

OB, thank you for the tip. Do you know how they size with Essex or Blue Moon?
Darrell thank you for the info. :)

More the Essex end of 15mm in my view. Let me see if I can find a pic'. The front rank of two handed swordsmen below are from the QRF range. The standard bearer-no flag- in the second rank is a Minifig. I suspect, but don't know, that the C14th figures might be a little smaller.

I must ask Steve what happened to those masters.

Essex do a huge feudal and early medieval range.
Museum miniatures do as well.

That's me isn't it? ::)
Anyway these links may help:
- Essex Feudal & Early Medieval (https://www.essexminiatures.co.uk/collections/15mm-medieval-feudal-early-medieval-1?page=1)
- Feudal Castings (QRF) | Feudal Scots (https://quickreactionforce.co.uk/product-category/qrf-freikorp15-pre-1900/feudal-to-c-1300ad/feudal-scots/)
- Gladiator | Feudals (https://fighting15s.com/product-category/gladiator-miniatures/feudals/page/2/?v=79cba1185463) - certain codes only
- Khurasan | Early HYW (http://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/early-hyw.html)
- Khurasan | Late HYW (http://khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/late-fourteenth-century.html) - certain codes only
If you know what you're looking for you should be OK eventually. These ranges differ markedly and it depends on your attitude to mixing & matching. I'd be very tempted by the Essex range for breadth and consistency.
Oops! Just realised that you wanted EU & UK only. Ignore the Khurasan ranges but still useful for the pictures.
Hope that helps.

OB thank you for the pic and tips.
thats usefull for me and others that might have the same idea.
Tallyho, tahnk you for your tips.
Vexillia, thank you for the tips and links. I´ll have a lot to choose from but i believe i will end up buying from Essex and probably another manufacturer if mixes well.
The reason i only want in UK/Europe is because of the high postage and the customs taxes here in Portugal. They are prohibitive.

You're most welcome.
I've found who now has the Steve Shaw figures-it's Scale Creep. They are in the USA so no use to you. However ebay can be good so here is a link so you can see what they look like.
