Title: Eutaw Spings 1781 scenario
Post by: vtsaogames on 25 August 2020, 08:24:52 PM
I have posted a scenario for this battle on my blog https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/2020/08/scenario-for-eutaw-springs-sept-8-1781.html (https://corlearshookfencibles.blogspot.com/2020/08/scenario-for-eutaw-springs-sept-8-1781.html)

I hope in coming days to put this on the table and see how it goes. As it will be a solo game, I am assured of victory. And defeat.

Such is war...  lol

Interesting battle. The poor Continental militia placed at the front of the 2 lines.

Interesting battle. The poor Continental militia placed at the front of the 2 lines.

It was a technique pioneered by Morgan to great effect at Cowpens, copied by Greene at Guilford Courthouse and Eutaw Springs. The militia soften up the British for the Continental Line regulars.

And these rules reward this, if done right.
