Title: Chillingham Castle and Colonial Militaria

I paid a vist to Chillingham Castle a couple of weeks ago, the owner collects Militaria from all over the world and much of the main hall is filled wiht Indian weapons and aemour, I thought I might share some of the more apporpriate stuff with you good folks, images on the blog.

Indeed yes.  You might think the armour above would stop a bullet.

Its the oddest lace, when last I went the ladies workign there had no idea what anythign was, one lady caught me looking at a double handed lanschnect sword and told me she thought it was a cavlary sword. Oh dear. Really interesting.
