Are there any US suppliers? The shipping is quite expensive from plastic soldier company.
-
Pre-orders are only shipping now, so I wouldn't expect any US folks to have it immediately, but Gamecraft(er?) Miniatures just started carrying the line. Brigade Games also carries some Battlegroup stuff. You can find random sellers on eBay but often for far over MSRP.
I'm very interested in Pacific as the next theater I'd pursue...but sadly the lack of quality plastic kits in 15mm for major forces there kills that enthusiasm dead. Even if I decided to cope with metals in 15mm, I won't pay Flames of War/Battlefront prices for sculpts from 2005, etc.
I'd hope that changes at some point, but Battlefront won't randomly be doing full plastics for the Pacific and PSC would have likely announced something (even a teaser) if they were going to launch a line along with the book, etc. Shame, but I can occupy myself with other stuff for a bit.

I have 15mm Japanese from Battlefront and find them quite fine. But there is always Eureka, Peter Pig, Skytrex....I don“t own some of them, but at least my Peter Pig figures for other theaters are good quality.
Because Battlegroup is distributed from PSC, maybe there is a chance they will produce some plastic kits in the near future.

PSC are doing 15mm Japanese apparently...
-
I haven't seen anything about that, but it would be logical. Good news.

Is the book hardcover? I cannot see from the pictures...
This could be a good opportunity for me to paint both Japanese and American forces that Battlefront produced some years ago when they were interested in the Pacific War and I never found a time to do them justice... ::)
Really interested to buy those rules...

Yes it is hardcover PSC have confirmed that on their Facebook page.
