So, I've started working on what it says in the title.
First figures I've painted up are these pendraken goblins to be used as orcs.
In the books, if memory serves, they are described as having dark or yellowish skin, so I've tried to include that, but i couldn't resist experimenting around a little so there are also some other, strange, colours thrown in, such as greens, purples, reds and blues.
The missus also painted some of them - her first figures. Gotta say she did a good job!

Next up are some feanorian elves from pendrakens range - a little too gw-ish for my tastes, but still pretty good sculpts and not extreme enough to be completely out of place.

Very nice goblins!

Cool stuff - I like the Pendraken goblins and I particularly like your take on them!
Have you seen the Copplestone 10mm figures?

Would love to know what system you used these guys in ??? :)

Tolkien described the orcs in a letter as being sallow skinned, short, bow-legged, slitty eyed, and wide mouthed, like an evil Mongol. So your orcs are about right.
