Here is my Late Roman army that was originally mounted for Warhammer Ancients but now is mounted for Dux Bellorum.

Lovely colourful work 8)
Did you rebase it recently? I ask as I'm in the middle of rebasing a HYW army and it's driving me up the wall o_o
-
Atheling,
I rebased them several years ago. I ordered the bases from Litko. Putting the figures on for me wasn't the hard part, what drove me nuts and took a file was making the bases look good. I had to get a new container for my sand due to the length of the bases which is 120mm. Working around the figures was a pain but well worth the agony.

I made the mistake of superglueing the mini's on the original bases and the ensuing struggle to get the mini's off even with great care has caused some of the paintwork to get scratched which is a bit soul destroying. touching up after rebasing! o_o o_o o_o I've done one unit thus far; I'm trying every now and again so it's not so painful :'(
Though it looks like yours worked out really well 8)

I use white glue when basing my miniatures. Just a soak in shallow water and they easily come off.

Yeah, oddly that's what I used to do about 20 odd years ago. I could not even begin to tell you what made me decide to use superglue nor at what stage but it is a definite curse! >:(
It's not like PVA is expensive ??? o_o ??? o_o

Uh oh, I've been using superglue for most of my basing lol
I guess me of the future may end up angry. Don't tell him I did it. :D

Yep you are doomed to the gnashing of teeth when such moments arise :D

I use "Tacky Glue", a thicker version of white glue.

Is that the Hobbycraft Tacky Glue? Or from somewhere else?

Great looking army for a fantastic game! :-*

The gold and purple bottle says "Aleenies Original Tacky Glue".
