I've been putting together a Japanese force with Chain of Command in mind. I've already played the excellent Malaya 1942 campaign and now with a Far East Handbook in the offing I've been wanting to make sure I have all the elements I need to cover the actions of most of the theatre. I've condensed all I've done into a single blog post for those that are interested in seeing more and you can find that here https://thetacticalpainter.blogspot.com/2020/08/japanese-in-20mm-for-chain-of-command.html

Brilliant work and post Tac. I’ve just got Battlegroup Pacific and it’s next on my list for CoC and Battlegroup once I’ve got Tunisia a bit more finished (terrible and confusing use of English - what that actually means is I’ve started stockpiling Pacific stuff but I’m trying to ignore it until I’ve actually achieved something with a theatre I’ve actually started :)).
Thank you for your efforts and blog posts they are always inspiring and helpful even when you think you have a good handle on what you’re doing in CoC.
Keep it up and stay safe,
BALM

Crikey, a bit of necroposting here. I posted this just over a year ago, but glad it's found a new audience for those who missed it first time around. I enjoyed putting these together and look forward to Too Fat Lardies getting around to publishing their Far East supplement for Chain of Command.
