It's not quite right. Needs at least one unit able to have a mortar and less LMGs and trucks possibly.

Other heroes types would likely be IRA advisor, similar to the CTV and Condor Legion advisor. Also one based on the Africanista hero, with the bonus being applied to forests, hills and marshes, 'Arwr cefn gwlad', The back country hero.

Surely another archetype Welsh hero would be the poet who writes anti-English awdl using cynghanedd.

For the non-Welsh, awdl is particularly difficult and strict form of poetry that is considered the finest thing a Welsh poet can write and some of the most esteemed prizes given out at eisteddfodau are for awdl.

Yes indeed, poet, folk singer, etc, although it's more likely to be pro-Welsh than anti-English. He would count as a firebrand preacher, but you'd need a poet model. Lots of wavy white hair, wooly jumper under a tweed jacket with leather elbow patches, possibly a pipe.

The pipe and the elbow patches are mandatory - for a male or female poet! :)

I forgot to say I like the rest of the forcelist, though!

There will be a second sourcebook in a few weeks (copied from Theminiaturespage):

The sequel to 1938: A Very British Civil War will now be released two parts. Such was the interest and amount of submissions received by the copy deadline, the only sensible solution was to release The Gathering Storm in two books instead of one.

2.1 will cover Scotland and the North, as well as some expansion material and some new factions (other fascist parties, the New Model Red Field Army, and the eagerly awaited forces of General Wynd-Grator).

2.2 will cover the Midlands and South (including all the scenarios from the Severn Valley Campaign, fought recently over two days at Gripping Beast HQ). In addition, there will be information on air, naval, espionage, and rail forces.

Expected release date for 2.1 is 30th October, and 2.2, 1st December.

Suggest that instead of horses, the mounted component rides Brecon ponies. Also what about the trained killer corgis?
