The shift to social media has made me forget all about forums, and how excellent they are. I just remembered the other day about Lead Adventure, so I thought I would come and post up the latest stuff I have been doing. We recently acquired a range of orc type vehicles, and have been working our way through them. Whan I say we, I mean myself and an actual other caster! I have been doing this solo for 14 years, but with the new range I need some help getting the work done. We basically set up an entire new studio to cast in polyurethane resin. We are getting really good quality, bubble free results, which is nice. Dont worry though the classic rich smelling polyester resin is still being used for the other ranges. Anyway, here is our latest offering, the Outrider. You can read a bit more about the whole process on my web page, which is the link below. Im also adding some free spooky Halloween orc heads to each order from the new range for Orktober.

I did some new heads and turrets for this model this week. It is a fun bit of kit! Good for so many games.

What is the reasoning behind using different resin? Any scope to extending this to other ranges if there are advantages to doing so?

The new polyurethane resin is better quality, but more expensive and harder to work with, basically! So yeah, not as wallet friendly as the polyester I normally use.

Yeah, that looks okay. If that's it, go to your shop page, click on the image, click on "copy image address" not "copy image", come back here and click on "insert image" at the extreme left of the post toolbar, paste the copied url and Bob, as they say, is your uncle.
Nifty piece, Ray Harryhausen would have approved.

Glad to help. Nice looking mech-monkeys. If I ever finish clearing my GW deadwood I'm going to need to do an order for some of that orky stuff you're making. Maybe all of it, actually. But first this gray plastic garbage needs to get painted.
