I just discovered these by accident last night, has anyone got any of them? They look like they might go well with the SHQ ([ex Chiltern) Vietnam range ., but until I send off for a couple of packs I won't know for sure.
-
I don't have any myself but I think that they fit in somewhere in between Empress and Gringo 40 , possibly nearer to Empress but they are chunkier.
-
I haven't seen them before, but if you are ordering then let me know.
Some bits interest me.
Are you thinking of doing Viet-Nam?
Quite a bit of my (unpainted) Indo-China collection would fit in.
(Civilians, poor quality 'rebels' & scenery).
-
Nice find James. Those civilians look perfect for my needs!
If you are both thinking Nam...I will happily get back on my scenery....
-
I just ordered some of the civilians. As soon as I get them I will take a picture for comparison with Gringo 40 and Empress

Always wanted to do Nam but only ever wanted to do it with the Chiltern figures. Happily I scored some at Hammerhead and some more second hand from a LAFer so yes this project is a goer

The civilians are great aren't they!
Like all my projects, this one might be a long time coming to fruition, so you have plenty of time to finish off your Germans.

My Vinter Germans are Komplete! Ze Summer Germans can vait!

These are going to be bigger/chunkier than Gringo or Empress. They're sculpted by Robi Baker of Baker Company fame and they size up nicely to that range of figures, but certainly smaller than Chiltern.
There was some discussion about these over at Fields of Fire, here:
