Hello again all,
These are my 18mm scifi Scratchbuilt grav vehicles from scrap
The main body is made from the front plastic covers of old desktop computers.
They're polystyrene so easily cut and glued . Card and milk bottle carton cap.
Missile racks and point defences from sprue, pvc & pc connectors.
I made the command apc with functioning rear door.
Simple yet effective. 3 Scudo Apc's for my Arditi & 1 Gladio medium tank.
I will do grav sleds for Mecha transport also.
Thanks for your comments.

Those are Awesome, I really like the command vehicle and how it turned out, very well done!
-
Thanks WM,
Glad you like them. :D
As you can see really simple to do, dirt cheap and most importantly less environmental waste to worry about.
More to follow. Grav sleds for Mecha transport... blitzkrieg style.
My next future job is to convert an old ups plastic case to a massive 18mm drop ship....

Thanks you guys,
At least 1 carton a day Cook :D :D :D
and for anyone who is interested a tool like this is great for polystyrene and pvc sheets , blocks etc. I bought a similar one from lidl which is just as good. Do be Careful as it is extremely sharp.

All painted up
A word of advise, if you are going to use Polythene caps ( generally soft shiny plastic ) you have to use screws, forget about gluing them ( I tried a 100 times & failed , wood screws work wonders). The cracked tan paint is an experiment, watered down crackle paint mix.
Works well but flakes off in some places :(. Varnish helps it to stick.
Enjoy

Again this shows that cheap scrap builds can be just effective & it is something that I urge all to try out.
I will be posting more builds soon (ish) ;)
