Hello there,
I know, there was the similar topic here: https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=121887.15
In fact, I have almost the same solution... But LAF suggested, that I should start a new one, because the other one is not active. So here it is.
The source of the problem, that I found no cheap elven cavalry for our Oathmark games, so I had make something homebrew. At the end, I united the spare parts from Northstars Oathmark elf light infantry, with a box of Gripping Beasts Goth elite cavalry. Here are some sample results:

And here a longer description, and more pictures about it:

Those are very nice. That goth elite cavalry set is excellent for fantasy conversions imo.

Thanks! Yes, the scale armor on the horses is perfect for many fantasy cavalry.
-
Those look fantastic!

These really look great, the fully barded horses certainly look high elvish to me! I'm looking forward to seeing them painted.

So far I have not ventured into assembling Oathmark units for which Northstar does not have any models yet. Great to see that you are making a start - I might later on nick a few of your excellent ideas! :)
-
They look great. I like your thoughts regarding the scales of the horses' armour shining in the sunlight.
-
They get together very well. I like them a lot!

Thanks to all of You!
Also check out the older topic!

Me too... I have not a lot of time to paint, so my painting progress is very slow.

Wow, that is very creative.
I look forward to seeing them painted (I would not like to face them on the table ^__^).

They work well 8)

Great use of the barded horses. They look very elvish

btw: where did you manage to get the cavalry bases without slots?
Right now I only manage to find slotted cavalry bases from German vendors.

I ordered them from a shop in Vienna, but as I see, its not on stock right now:

Thank you!
They seem to be the cavalry version of the square bases I use for the infantry. Good and sturdy stuff!
-
Yeah, these models look fantastic. Great combination choice!
-
Beautiful! This is what I am going to do! I thought about this, but your conversion has convinced me that it is the way to go!
-
Thanks to you all!

Well, the quality is not over the top: there are visible milling marks of the mold tool, and there is burr all around the edge. But for a base its okay.
