In anticipation of an eventual relaxation of Tier 3 Covid restrictions I set about creating a village for a fun game with the grandchildren.
I found a bag of old stuff in the back of a wardrobe and in it were the usual furry toys, old broken toys and a bag of McDonald's Bedrock houses. So I decided that we might try to incorporate them into a game of "Eat Hitler" or maybe a prehistoric zombie game or a stone age hunt or whatever. After cleaning off the dust and debris of 20 years (or so) and filling in some of the cracks I undercoated and painted them grey. The foliage is a mixture of shredded foam from figure blisters, flock powder and lichen. The murals were applied with a Sharpie. Not bad for a wet Friday the Thirteenth's work?
