I been working on some buildings for the table. Some are those Paper Mache boxes one can get at the local craft store and others are just scratch built. I just used cardboard, chipboard and cereal box cardboard. I haven't painted anything as of yet but getting around to it soon. I am also working on fences and walls as well.

I also scored some Honeycombed Cardboard Packing which I am going to use for taller buildings

I have enough of the Honeycomb to make a couple more of those for the background
I also have other paper Mache boxes done just waiting on paint as well.
I am working on a small hospital and home improvement store as well.
Will update as things get finished thanks for looking

Looking great.
I like the ruins. Never thought to use corrugated cardboard for walls but of course they are empty cavity. Inspiring.

That is really cool, Doug!
Could this have been an inspiration? http://tinysolitarysoldiers.blogspot.com/2014/01/khurasan-helmeted-resistance-and-cheap.html?m=1

Thanks, that is where I got some of my ideas, I just added a little more to them is all. I wanted houses to have different roofs then just a box look.

I found some boxes on Amazon that would fit the bill for that. I've been wanting to create some 20mm taller buildings for a WWIII project and this would speed that project right along!

Hi Cook
Boxes on Amazon? Which ones? Thanks.

Box is 4x4x2"

There are many other options out there, but a 2" tall building happens to suit my needs in 20mm scale. My problem is that most rectangle boxes were not deep enough for my tastes (front to back). This square was about the best of what I found.

Cook
Excellent. Thanks so much!

Great work! I especially like the modern shops/commercial buildings made from the boxes, I guess they can also still act as storage boxes for minis and scatter terrain too?

This is pretty neat and those papier maché boxes open a whole bunch of possibilities.

I think I’m going to have to raid my wife’s gift wrapping and boxes stash.
