Post by: Agis on 21 August 2009, 05:52:52 PM
Hi,

does anybody know of a good website with a tutorial?
I need some inspiration for a possible section in one of my next books...

Thanks!

and here's a hobby site:
http://www.magnetnerd.com/ (http://www.magnetnerd.com/)

I hope this will inspire you  :)

Definitely NOT what was looking for, but very interesting!
 :o ;)

I was looking for a some ideas of how to work with magnets on models. I know how to do that, but was looking for some suitable texts.

Anyway - thanks!

Agis I think our own forum member Aubrey might have a tutorial of how she uses magnets to hold 3D terrain in place using the workworks paper buildings.
I know she uses them embedded into the foam board and under the paper sidewalks to hold street lamps etc in place.  She has The Forsaken website.  Let me know if you need the web address and I will find it and send it too you.  She used to post alot in the gothic horror forum.
