Title: Enjoying Frostgrave 2nd Edition?
Post by: punkrabbitt on December 04, 2020, 07:19:17 AM
So how is everyone enjoying Frostgrave 2nd edition? I am almost done painting my first warband for it. I was going to recycle my 1st edition warbands, but decided to start fresh. I hope to have pics up over the weekend.

It is really the same game with a few tweaks so yes still enjoying it.  The new scenarios that are included are challenging and that is a good thing.  Have fun.

It has certainly renewed my interest (especially building the figures - along with Oathmark).

I have revised my first war band for second edition (it did not get painted first time round).

The revised war band building rules make it a lot easier to come up with an interesting war band, and even if you do badly, you can replace some of your party on the cheap.

I have also designed and built a second war band, mainly using the Soldiers II sprues (with a single Wizards II body).

The archers will be built up to a unit for Oathmark.

The Oathmark Skeleton Infantry are coming together for the Mausoleum, and six Chronohounds and four crystals for Dog Days.

I hope to have something together for the Christmas break.

Of course the Demons on Thursday might be a distraction...
