Title: Kitbashing Victrix and Oathmark Plastics
Post by: JohnDSD2 on 10 December 2020, 11:08:50 AM
Collective mind,

Do any of you have any experience of combining Victrix and Oathmark plastics?
How is the fit?

Done some with Gripping Beast that work well, just wondering about other plastics.

Thanks in advance.

I did these for elven line breakers.  Just elf heads on Victrix bodies

Pretty easy, just had to cut the heads some to fit the body.

I did these archers by putting Oathmark arms on Victrix bodies:

It takes a little more cutting than kitbashing Frostgrave and Oathmark, but it can be done.

Thank you.

That's just the answer I was hoping for.

Those archers look great!

That's impressive work for sure, but the one on the right may experience back issues in later life.

These are a mix of mainly Oathmark goblins and Victrix Saxon parts, plus a few other bits and pieces from other kits...

Very nice work.

Which Victrix set are they from?

Thank you. They are Saxons. Second from the right might be a Viking body, not entirely sure. Far right has a Gaul head.

I thank you for the information (and my bank account hates you ^__^). I will have a look at the Victrix ranges.

There are some close up pics on this thread if they’re of interest... http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=124836.0

Really must finish painting them... Well, maybe over Christmas  ::)

I love them! I think that the goblins are the best Oathmark sculpts, but your kitbash is even better. There more dynamic poses and the diversity fits those goblins very-very well!
Well buying, building and playing comes really easy and quick for me too, but painting... I love this part of the hobby as well, but it needs by far the most time.
