Years ago I had an idea rattling around to build a full gypsy camp. At the time I built one Vardo:

The problem that I had is that a gypsy camp did not contextually fit in with any system that I played at the time. The project was put on hold and I moved onto other terrain that would see more use.
Then my local gaming group started playing Pulp Alley. Now I have a reason to continue a long stalled project and something to do over Christmas.
The new vardo will be similar to the old and is starting much the same way. Built of card and coffee stirrers.

Interior will not be playable but will be detailed as it is something that I can geek out on.

More images to come as I work on it.

Cool. Look forward to seeing things develop.
-
Great start - I would most certainly have my tea leaves/fortune read at such a locale. However, I suspect werewolves and ne'er do wells might also frequent such traveling abodes. Good luck, and look forward to seeing more progress!

Managed some interior work last night. All that is left on the inside is some minor woodwork and gap filling.

Many thanks. I just noticed that I had duplicated one of the images. Fixed that now.

I am planning on a bow top next for some variety in the campsite.

Started on the bow top Vardo. It took a bit of planning but is coming along. I will add bits and window shades before painting.

I am planning on doing a line of tied up pony's. Does anyone have any other suggestions for additional terrain to complete the site?
-
I like this one even better. Are the wheels a bit larger on this one? They seem to my eye to be more in proportion with the size of the carriage. Great interior!

And says his prayers by night,
May become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms,
And the moon is full and bright.”
