I really love Nikolai Dante - As far as i'm concerned it's one of the most fun series 2000AD ever put out, full of wonderful visuals, bizarre characters and a really well built setting.
But for all that I enjoy it, 2000AD don't seem too, so it tends to get skipped over when it comes to merchandise, tie ins and miniatures. So sod it, I've made my own.
Not an amazing sculpt, But i've wanted a Dante mini for a long time and hey, now I've got one!

Very well done; you can be proud of your efforts!
I am not familiar with the character (obviously this emphasises your entire issue ::) ), but from the artwork you showed, your rendition is pretty much spot on.
If I could offer one point of constructive critisism, it would be that the head appears slightly too big to me, but other than that I can only salute your sculpting prowess!
Now get him painted. If I read the description and picture right, it should be appropriately garish... :D

Great sculpt!
Have you seen the Dante miniatures in the Judge Dredd - Helter Skelter board game? The game includes minis of Nikolai, Lulu, Jena, Elena, and Viktor.

You're right, his head does seem a tad large - It might be that i built up his hair a tad too much.

i have seen them but didn't fancy buying the game for just the handful of minis, Plus old Dante doesn't seem dynamic/drunk enough. :D
