Rules are heavily modified Wooden Ships and Iron Men (ships less maneuverable, guns slower firing, crews larger and better prepared for melee).

The models are from Zvezda's 1/350th scale range of Armada-era models. They are designed to be snap-fit and are remarkably well detailed.
