Via the excellent BLDGBLOG, "City Laid Out Like Lizard" (http://bldgblog.blogspot.com/2009/08/city-laid-out-like-lizard.html)
"Did strange people live under site of Los Angeles 5000 years ago?" the article asks, supplying a bizarre treasure map through the city's undersides in the process.
My God, the pulp scenario practically writes itself! Clandestine diggings in Depression-era LA. Furtive activities deep underground, and a terrifying mystery in long-lost tunnels! Gold - did we mention the masses of gold supposedly detected in these mysterious tunnels?

As Wirelizard said, this writes itself - even a suitable handout is provided!

This is awesome. I will be intergrating it into my Cthulhu games immediately! Los Angeles will be a centre of Deep One activity by the end of the day.
(It wasn't already? Shame on you Orc!)
