Stellar work. I love the stars and stripes on Ape Ace and the purple and green on the devil night. Great comic book looking figures ( meant in the best way). :D
-
Whoahh! :-*
They seem to be really nice, but somehow your bad photos ruin it! Ape Ace must look REALLY good when properly photographed, what is wrong?
-
hi Agis,
i'll have to re-photograph him, for some reason the same setting worked for the other 2 but not him, i'm still sorting out camera settings etc, for mini photographing.

The 1st picture is a little fuzzy but the Ape’s cloths are just amazing lol

Better! Thanks.
Maybe check out Tom's tutorial, IMO still the best and most easy to follow...

I would also not show the minis THAT big, maybe a maximum height of 400 pixels?

Awesome work! I love your stuff!

Great job! The ape ace is very impressive, excellent execution! And the next Devil's Knight I do I'll have to steal the idea for purple in the clothes.

thanks for the kind wors guys,
@Scott, It's pretty easy to get inspired with such great sculpts and an excellent game to use them in ;)

Thanks, Jim!
When you and Agis (and others like Super-Gibbon) paint SuperFigs and other sci-fi stuff, it really reminds me why I got into the hobby in the first place.
Now I need to go home and brush up on my blending!

Great to see your work on here Jim. Jim is pretty much the guy who taught me about gaming and how to paint way back at GW Hammersmith. Thanks mate.

So he's the Obi Wan Kenobi of Paul Hicks? What an honour! ;)
-
yes, sadly it's true, I remember paul as an eager young sprog, with way too mich talent even then,
you should have seen the giant he pretty much scratch built as a school kid, I knew one day he'd be the talent he is now.
