I have another question too, Grimm - what scale/type are the cars? Are they 1:43? They look perfect!I didn´t know these are the pixar disney cars and I didn´t know the scale.
Is that a Cars "Ramone" I see in the background, and how do they size up?yes it is and it size up very good if you like cars a bit smaller than they are in realety.
Does it bother you at all that there are a bunch of guys telling you how much they like your jeans?!?
Will Bubba make an appearance
For this 50's game are you going to have giant ants? Blobs? A giant Gila Monster? A punk's 50 foot tall girlfriend?
Hi All
Thanks for the nice feedack :-*
That realy cause fear in me !!!!
yes !! for sure he will be a singel special hero and I don´t care if he has the wrong outfit for the 50ths
that is a must have I think
I have ants and other Insects ,I will post a picture soon so you can say wich one do you like to see on the board
cheers Grimm
Isn't the "full version" is going to be released at Tactica?
60s, but I reckon it kind of fits the theme...

Much better than all that rockabilly shit!
Someone ought to do a gang of crazy, murderous go-go dancers to beat the shit out of Grimm's Greaseballs! :)
I can't help it. Being from the Mod/Skinhead axis my natural enemies are Rockers and Greasers. >:(
I have declared a unilateral temporary truce (20 years or so) with Grimm, on account of him being such a good egg.
I love the Ronettes, but they are absolutely 1960s. You could hardly get more 60s than them,
Good work you have just sucked me in.
Where are those zombies from?
next week more ``event`` redzombies I also need a schoolbus for the figures any Ideas what car I can use ?
Oh Grimm, I like these figures. What Kind of colours did you use for it??? New Valejo Stuff???

What kind of critters can you run in this game.
How long does a "typical" game take to play out?I dident know I only read the preview rules .
What kind of critters can you run in this game. I see zombies and know it does the post apocalyptic genre... but what else?
How long does a "typical" game take to play out?
I've emailed a few times but the only response I've ever managed to get was on the Atomic Cafe Forum, where I was told he would look into it.Since then nothing.
I love the 1950's and I was really psyched for this range but after ordering the initial release from Brigade back on July 10th I'm still waiting for my pack of 'Local Cops'.
I've emailed a few times but the only response I've ever managed to get was on the Atomic Cafe Forum, where I was told he would look into it.Since then nothing.
I still get Brigade Games adverts sent to me though.
It's left me pretty hacked off, everyone else seems to have no problem ordering. >:(
Well I can say I have been motivated to get stuff done. Add to that the fact that the AC57 Mooseketeers & Roller Girls, the Hybrid 1 set, WWI French Infantry III, Chinese Civil War (3 new packs) molds arrived in a mold shipment this week and I want to get packs cast and ready for sale. I will be putting up preorder info late tonight/tomorrow.Hi Lon
I have also decided to purchase a new casting machine so I can make the most productive use of my time.
BTW when you will relese the Original AC57 RadZombies and how would they look like ?
Woof, that's a commitment. If you're going to buy a brand new casting machine you almost HAVE to learn to make molds as well. ;)
Love the new miniatures Grimm! How did you do the painting on the bowling balls? They look real! Cheesy
Ants are a classic 1950's sci fi creature, but these mantis are superb. :-*Ants and Tarantula... :)
Excellent work, it makes me want a bowling shirt and to roll up my jeans.
Great looking stuff Grimm! As for zombies, you can expect the Shamblers and Runners to look like zombified versions of the current figures. However, the Bloaters and Minders will be unique looking.
I believe Paul is working on these now.
Zombies next!Woohooo :-*
Zombie ARE like jello... there's always room for more. :D
I MUST have MUTANTS !!!
Possible source... might not 50-ish period enough... Dreamblade miniatures?
Zombies next!YYYYHHHHHAAAAAAA!!!! Pictures Please !!! can´t wait !
What scale are you using, Grimm?I am not sure now I use the Bus and some pixar ``Cars`` but I keep a eye on the Jada car Models (1/64) they look a bit bigger
Now I have to thank Hammers for his nice Idea of using the Hasselfee Elvis thanks old chap .
I'll send a sneak peek to Pappa Midnight
thanks a lot guys :D
and Operator5 thanks for the Zed picture it looks like the Zeds will be a blast can´t wait to see them :)
Cheers Grimm
Oh yes, there will be zeds. First 4-pack is already sculpted. THe specials are in progress and hopefully a second 4-pack after that.
First 4-pack is already sculpted.
I must have them can´t wait to see the greaser zombie (hope there is one )
remember ``Sometime they come back `` :D
I have a funny feeling customs at the airport would have a slight problem with Grimm trying to transport strange bits of metal and plastic on a plane from Hamburg :o :o
@oxiana
taking the stuff to the BLAM can be a problem but let me think a bit about it .
grimm
I have a funny feeling customs at the airport would have a slight problem with Grimm trying to transport strange bits of metal and plastic on a plane from Hamburg - I think it would be more a weight issue than anything else, Mac.
BEAUTIFUL GRIMM!Sorry, no pictures!!!! Come to Hamburg and see it... ;)
I love it and can't wait to see pictures from your game.
Sorry, no pictures!!!! Come to Hamburg and see it... ;)
Why don't you all come to London for Salute and do a big game and sell A57 in the biggest Wargames show in the world. :D
seconded! Come and meet the nutters from the UK! :D
Why don't you all come to London for Salute and do a big game and sell A57 in the biggest Wargames show in the world. Cheesy
If you held the convention at a reasonable time of year (say May) I could convince the missus to go at that time. But she doesn't think Germany in Feb. would be a great vacation. :)You´re not visiting Germany, it´s Hamburg and who cares for the weather!

In the meantime i´m playing a game of the fantastic "Atomic Cafe" at the Tactica ;)
What was the scale of those cars again? Every time I see them I start second guessing my decision to go with the 1:43 scale.
This damn subject is going to be more and more tempting. I need another gaming distraction like the plague...
Here comes the Army.....
Russian green and Russian uniform :)
Grimm - what's the approximate size of the baseboards for the cafe and gas station as I'm thinking about my own little new year project...
Grimm - just a couple of questions on the main board. What materials do you use long grass and tumble weeds?
... "Redzombie" - should be "Radzombie" (unless he's gone communist)....
...'New Record' (don't know what it would do...still, cool!)...
At a German convention, do you actually present your event cards and props in English, or is that just for the benefit of the non-Teutonic horde here on LAF?
...Should have cards for 'Milkshake' (get back a wound or somthing...) and 'New Record' (don't know what it would do...still, cool!)
maby you are right but I think it is a good act to ask before I use the street billboard .
OK now the tactica is over and I get a very good feetback for my game .
What is next now ?
The ``Do or Dice`` in Kiel north Germany .
and ready for the show the HH Kit kat club .
hope to see you all there .
cheers Grimm
