Title: evil ape mastermind
Post by: fairoaks024 on August 29, 2009, 08:30:25 PM
This is a repainted heroclix DC gorilla Grodd figure,

He does double duty as grodd in superfigs and as an evil ape mastermind
in pulp games,

Oh yes, I like it. Though to me he looks less the evil mastermind, and more the star turn of The Royal Simian Shakespeare Company.

Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio:
A fellow of infinite jest, of most excellent fancy:
Um, can I have a banana?

Yep, good old Yorrick. Looking at a skull is soooo 17th century.  :D

Unless you play Warhammer, because there's a million about and then some.

Right, but people don't lookt at them and contemplate about life in general...  lol

The skulls there kind of happen to stick to armour, weapons etc. Could be worse...

'Alas, poor chimpy...I knew him Ostropithicus! A monkey of infinite jest...'

Great stuff! Love the paint job.

I confess I've always been a fan of the original Grodd sculpt for Heroclix, who is also holding a skull, and, apparently, auditioning for Hamlet:

It's the cape that sets it off.
