I'm just wondering if Mr Copplestone designed the Partizan packs as adversaries for the Neo Sovs? Seems like they're all dressed in cold weather gear, so obviously the Future Wars troopers aren't equipped to battle them without freezing their nads off.

Can't really help with the question. I painted all of mine in the same scheme. They work well as regulars and militia. I have to agree they don't gel perfectly with the other stuff he has done. That said they work well with the soldiers and scavengers from the same range.

I painted them to make a kind of RCW in the Future, but never found more figures. So, they are a bit out of the rest of mr. Copplestone. A pity that he never made maore

I think they are meant to resemble the Wolverines from Red Dawn?

Thanks for the input guys.

That was my thinking too.

Yes. That was also my thinking.

No Lea Thompson or Jennifer Grey among the figures though...

I remember Mark mentioned in his newsletter at the time the neo-sovs where inspired by a graphic novel/comic called 'Gipsy'.
For the rest I always appreciated the Future Warriors range was without any background. They could be allies, they could be the resistance.

Maybe I find them in Zona Alfa-Planning in my mind. They work well with Lead miniatures Postapo-Range
