Title: Who makes decent Pilgrims?
Post by: JollyBob on 03 February 2021, 10:19:52 PM
Bob's off again...

I will be getting some of the Perry armed pilgrims, and probably some of the Gripping Beast ones, but who makes any that would fit with them?

The only other ones I've seen are the Crusader minis ones which don't look ragged-bothered enough, and the Old Glory ones which have shitty pictures on the website and are probably bloody terrible in the hand.

Does anyone have any ideas, please?

They were all mostly decent, except for a handful of power hungry characters.  :)

Those from V&V miniatures are very good : https://vminiatures.com/28-mm/crusades/

I think you might find Footsores/Hicks and Hobday's armed levy from their recent Barons war Kickstarter useful when they are realeased on general sale.
If you check out the campaign on KS you will still be able to see them.
Edit: I've tried twice to add a direct link to the KS but it ain't happening for some reason - sorry.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll keep an eye on Footsore for the extra levy figures being released. That would solve a lot of compatibility issues.
The V&V figures look great, but maybe slightly oversized compared to Perry/Hicks. Plus they are expensive even before the post European Divorce taxes...

I've mixed gripping beast, perry, V&V, foundry, Curteys and stronghold terrain in my pilgrim's horde and they all fit perfectly...
