Hi Friends,
I've been lurking on the forum for a number of years admiring everyone's work. During that time I've been working on a 6mm Border War project and a few others as well. The project features the fictional nations Bana Cundé and, well, some other place.... The forces of Bana Cundé primarily use vehicles/weapons from Russia/the Warsaw Pact, while the unnamed foes use NATO vehicles/weapons. I am using GHQ miniatures.
I have reviewed the instructions on posting photos and hope that I have done it correctly. Please let me know. I can delete as needed.
I have a number of painted (and even more unpainted) miniatures that I purchased as part of this project. I hope (as long as my images don't violate the forum rules) to post more.
Thank you in advance and please stay safe.
All my best,
Ántonia

Hi Ántonia,
The page links you used will not work with the image tags. With these tags, you'll gave to use an actual image URL, ending with the file format of the uploaded pic, most often ".jpg"
You might be able to get these by right-clicking the image and selecting "copy image URL" from the context menu under most browsers, but there might also be an issue with unregistered users not seeing it if hosted on Google services.
If the hotlinking doesn't work, you can alternatively attach the images to your post under the message field.

Thank you so much! I hope it works this time!
I appreciate the guidance.
All my best,

Great looking minis! Very menacing Soviet armour!
How did you paint them?

Nice job. ;)

Thank you! I prime black, use Vallejo Iraqi Sand and Vallejo Russian Uniform WWII. Tracks are black rubber. I wash in Agrax Earthshade, do a few highlights with the base colors. I then, on tanks, do lights and wash the engines with Nuln Oil.
Nice job. ;)
Thank you, Paul!

Those are very nicely done! I’m planning to paint some Cold War Soviets this year and will definitely be checking on this thread for inspiration.
-
Nice work, do post more.
There is a lot more heavy metal on show than I was expecting from the Border Wars title, made me think of skirmishes not tanks!

Thank you. I will do. There's a lot painted already (and a lot more in boxes :o)... I even bought a mat in a bout of matness madness. I'm currently working on Hinds and Hips.
Nice work, do post more.

Thank you! I'm dreading doing the infantry. After painting part of an EPIC Space Marine Chapter I'm in denial about tiny men. I need to flesh out the nations, but I've already decided on a resource-driven conflict - so a lot of machine will be on the table.

Gorgeous work! I've just been inspired to crack open my own 6mm Imagi-Nation project after some friends decided to drag out some old 6mm. This thread looks like it'll be great inspiration :)

I've been really inspired by the amazing work folks do on this board, so thank you! I'm looking forward to seeing your minis when you post them. I hope to post some photos tonight.

Hi Friends,
Here are a few more photos of the forces of Bana Cundé on a sunny day. The photos are mostly BMPs (including a goofy recon version with a needle as a mast).
-
Beautiful work! They’ll get their infantry where they need to go.
-
I love the recon conversion! Remember, if it's stupid but it works, then it ain't stupid! :D

I hope so! I have more to do I believe...and then the infantry.

Thank you. It's small, but felt like fun.
