I have some Etsy friends with 3D printers and I recently came across a range of buildings for sci-fi called "District 0012". One of these friends in Canada just sent me a proof of some buildings he did for me, re-scaled down to 15mm.

oooh. I like those. So they are available for 28mm?
-
Yes. The range is made for 28mm. :D This is the aesthetic I was looking for in 15mm but couldn't really find from the usual suspects.

Exceptional find. So hard to find great pieces that work with 15mm.

My humble observations as a guy with a printer who is rescaling models to fit his needs: It is easier to find good 6mm/10mm models and bring them up to 15mm scale than to take something meant to be big and shrink it. The good news is that there are a LOT of great 6mm models/epic scaled models out there that would look even better at 15mm. I've been doing this with spacecraft and the result is fantastic.

I actual have personal experience of this as I backed the kickstarter for this very purpose. They work really well however the scaling is a bit odd - use the consoles next to doors as a point of reference. I think I scaled to 60% in the end.
Generally speaking though I agree with CookAndrewB below

They do look great though.

Those look really nice, any chance of a shot of the doors or just side on? I do like the idea of 3D printing but the striations are often frustrating.
Thank you sir!

Andrew, I'll try and snap some pics this week for ya.

Thanks, they already look pretty good. I have always intended to just focus on sci-fi in 15mm, so much more practical, brilliant ranges and the scenery can be easily stored, but love some of my 28mm (some of which I’ve had for many years) and will have to find a good home for them to break the attachment :D.
