The're also for a game no longer being produced, I believe.

They're from Helldorado game, produced by a French company called Asmodée Editions and it's still on sale as far as I know. I think you have mistaken it with another French company called Rackham which has stopped producing metals and have moved to prepainted plastic with the name of Confrontation.

Confrontation is now making pre painted plastics thanks to fantasy flight i believe.

but the guy who sculpted these used to work for rackham, hence the similarity in style.

i have some of the other demons from helldorado sitting as home. and yeah, they are brilliant.

Those are great figures.  Unpleasant to look at, genuinely horrifying IMO.

there are some other great and disturbing miniatures from hell dorado (http://www.helldorado.fr/factions/les-demons/index.php) that make good zombies too.
Like a zombie baby (http://www.helldorado.fr/factions/les-demons/grain-de-sable/index.php) for example

Helldorado is done.  They had a back log of miniatures they were going to put out until I think the end of the year and then they are going to close up.  I saw that anouncement a long time ago too.  I forget where.  Maybe on Tabletop Gaming News.  They are awesome sculpts though.

Yes, I never said they weren't for sale anymore, I said they were no longer being produced. Which is all moot now anyway, since they announced today that a U.S. company, Cipher Studios, has acquired the rights to produce the game from Asmodee in France. So good news, and I won't have to pay import prices for them anymore!

I hate to think what they were charging before if those are the clearence prices! I can get them cheaper than that from Maelstrom or Arcane at their normal prices (although I only checked the Saracens which I'd like to get). Or are the prices in the actual store lower?

Great game (at least as far as the transation goes...) wonderful figures. Best of all...in Hell, my friends! The game is in Hell!!! :-*
Hope it does well when it gets rereleased...or reissued...or just released...or whatever.
