Anyone know where i can get a Mad Max/ Road Warrior type figure in 28mm?
also, does anyone know where i can find a suitable miniature to represent a blue heeler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_heeler) in the same scale?
Cheers in advance.

http://www.taban-miniatures.com maybe?

I was going to recommend the last miniature at the bottom...
http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalog/REBELS.html (http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalog/REBELS.html)
But I think the one Hasslefriesian recommended is better.
Me want.

Nice! Thanks for posting 8)
The EM4 model is nice too but more Mad Max 3 style with the long hair and the scarfs.

I have the Taban Mad Max and it is a really nice sculpt. I can really recommend Taban. Deliverly was superfast and the casts are crisp. I even got some extra resin bases! Great service 8)

Can you bring him tonight so I can have a peek? I'm especially curious how he scales up since it's a 32mm model 8)

That Taban one is most shiny, thanks for posting that.

although 32mm does seem a little big for what im after
any pics of how he scales compared to gw or hassel free figures?
and does anyone know where i can get his dog?

Particularly if it is supposed to represent Mel Gibson :D

I just caved and bought the Taban fig so I too would like to know where I can get a suitable looking dog figure.

I have him at home and maybe I can take some pictures. May be difficult as my router is fried. But I'll look into it. Considering the dog...maybe Mega Miniatures? Or Spinespur's upcoming dogs?
Here's a VERY cool post-apocalyptic Max-like survivor by the way:

He comes with 3 heads...completely resin.

i was thinking that the dog in the pegasus farm animals (1/72 scale) set may be about right but i cant find a clear pic of it so i really don't know.

Reaper makes a good Mad Max
(http://www.reapermini.com/graphics/gallery/4/50065_w_1.jpg)
-
i'm always a little dubious with reaper, partly due to them doing integral and non integral bases, and partly due to the differences in scale they tend to have.
cool looking mini, thanks for letting me know, i shall see if my fngs has him in stock.

First of all thanks for your interest and visits to our web site.
I have measured several minitures to answer Reinfield 286 post... :
Taban's Mad Max is 32,5mm top of head
Grant and Eve (both from hasslefree) is 31,5 mm top of head
Eve the archeologist (also from hassle free) is 31,5mm top of head
space marine (assuming the guy is standing and not walking apelike as most of GW miniatures...) 32 to 33mm
Necromunda gang leader : 30,5
Reaper's warlord series miniatures 33mm
This miniature is tall, but fits quite well with any other product.
The proportions of our post-apoc minis being very reallistic, they are "slim" compared to GW products, and visually compensate rather well the 1,5mm difference... ;)

Thank you very much. :)

Good to see you hear Taban. I hope you'll post news here :)

This was the dog, i believe the breed is a blue heeler (as i said above) im sure that certain border collie (not long haired rough collies) figures may work with the right paint job

Well, since I have to post a teaser pic per my previous instructions, we'll have to start with this:

Okay, now that that's out of the way and I have people's motor running, I shall refer you to this:
http://www.skankgame.com/Links.html (http://www.skankgame.com/Links.html)
Which has links to almost all the Post Apocalyptic figures I know. There's also a link there to the mad max vehicles page and others.
Have fun!
