Title: May Contain Ads... 20mm Cold War Terrain

While I've been unable to hold a paintbrush worth a damn lately, I've been digging about for stuff that could be done with minimum finesse. These two cold war billboards had been sitting in a drawer, primed, since 2017. Prefect candidates, needing only a couple of base colours and some drybrushing! Quite chuffed with how these came out (ok, the BMW is a 1990s models, so not strictly correct for the 80s...), they'll do nicely for blocking sight and giving an 80s look to the board. Who knows what's lurking behind them? Spetznaz with an RPG, Marxist revolutionary with a molotov, or if you're really unlucky, a German policeman with a radar gun...

These are wonderful, they are exactly like the local ad boards near the iron bridge up the road from me.

I never knew the Ford Granada was sold as such in Germany under that name. Seems kinda strange.  :D

it was the first german/gb ford project and the cars were almost identical apart from small details for each country.

Not withstanding thousands of cars belonging to members of the Armed services, quite often right hand drive with a British Forces Germany (BFG) number plates.
