I’ve had this happen a couple of times, I use the LAF gallery as the storage point for my photographs. Occasionally they go missing! For instance in the following thread I had originally posted 4 images. Now only two are visible.
Page 5 has the missing images from the post.

When I check my gallery the thumbnails show all of the images, but when I click the missing images thumbnail there is no stored image. I hope that makes sense.
Thank you for any insight.
EDIT: Well the images are back, maybe it has something to do with the server, or perhaps I was viewing previously on my iPad. Still, if anybody knows I'd be interested in learning.

Recently I noticed I was unable to link images on the forum from my website. I was going to report this to my hosting company when...I checked with other browsers.
I use Chrome usually, and could no longer see images. But with IE and MS Edge, I can. So, always check with a different browser. That could be the issue in this case and nothing to do with the site itself.
(I've posted an image of Col. Marbles. On my PC I can't see this with Chrome, but can with Edge. ::) )

Colonel Marbles looks amazing!
Yes, I'll take a look at downloading a different iPad browser, as the above image shows up on this computer (Firefox). It makes sense, and thanks for the input.

Off topic, but Orctrader.... amazingly vibrant brushwork on the Colonel!

I can't see it in either, but... when I right click and 'Open image in new tab' I can... :?

This is because the image is from an insecure site (http:// and all that) and Chrome is blocking it as a cross site security risk. The other browsers are less fussy.
I did think that myself, but then on one of my PCs running Chrome, I do see them. ::)
All understandable for us IT-types, but for the majority of humanity, they just want browsers that...work.
Anyway, I added the SSL cert and edited the redirect, so within a few hours my site should show as "secure."

Wait a second, I can post images directly to LAF??
-
In Chrome you can permit insecure content for specific sites. Click the little icon to the left of the page address in the address bar (probably looks like a padlock, might look different) and select site settings. On the new tab that pops up, scroll down to insecure content, change that setting to Allow. Close the tab and reload the LAF page you were looking at, you'll be able to see the images now.
