These are the next release for our 28mm Shattered Isles Fantasy range - five packs of Highland Dwarfs sculpted by Whiff-Whaff. The War Haggises are sculpted by Mark Sims.
All being well these will be released at Colours on 12th September and be available the next week online.

The haggis is not anatomically correct. >:(
A real haggis has two long legs on one side and two short legs on the other side for running around hills. ;)
lol lol lol
Very nice figures I may add these to my WHFB dwarf army. Don't know how the haggis will fit into the army list though?

I dimly remember a story in the Beano or Dandy (or somesuch) where they had the anatonically correct Haggises running around a hill. Chasing Dennis the Menace, possibly ???
Age-muddled reminiscence aside, I do like those wee porridge-scoffers!
I would probably never play a game with them, but would love to paint up a unit or two like Jolly Bob did with his Halfling militia.
I don't usually like the GW-style "Christmas-pudding-on-legs" approach to Dwarf anatomy, but these have so much character and charm that they are impossible to resist :)

These are great. :D

the moustaches really stand out! :) I think they add lots of charisma to the minis!

These are cracking :-*

Don't like the Haggis-herder's trident. It is silly-big. Other than that, they are wonderful little heeland laddies, full of character.
-
I feel the urge to create yet another HoTT army ;D
Now then, what will make a good stronghold for these laddies....

These are so awesome. You have to love Sims sculpts.

Only the Haggises are Mark Sims, the dwarves are all by Whiff-Whaff.

Lovely. :) Very characterful and fun little sculpts.
I do not want to buy them.
;)

There's no way I can pass up War Haggises. Not when the Dwarfs took so much time to breed out the leg length issues. It would just be unkind.

Wonderful, a must have!

How about a cave mouth, with a spider hanging from the roof and a big pot of porridge simmering over a fire? ;)
Good idea about the HOTT army though, it would also work for Chipco's "Fantasy Rules", which I haven't played for a while.
A little more incentive to buy some :D

Cracking lil' chaps those, on sale at Colours you say... Hmmm... Don't need them but what the hell :D
