Title: Italian Invasion of Ethiopia 1935-6 Photo links and game at Partizan

Following on from a request by Plynkes, here is a link to a few shots of my Ethiopians and Italians for 1935-6:

They're not the greatest photos but hopefully you get the idea!  The collection has expanded considerably since I took these, I now have Mahel Safari (Ethiopian regulars), CV35 tanks and Eritrean Askaris as well.  I did a photo session for Wargames Illustrated last week with the full collection and terrain - I expect these to appear, alongside two articles and scenarios, in WI towards the end of the year.  I'm hoping these shots will be better focused than my amateur attempts!

I'm also doing a demo game at Partizan in Newark this weekend, so please stop by if you are interested, and hopefully we'll have some photos of that to follow.

Splendid work, James. Really looking forward to seeing pics of the "sardine can" CV35s.

Thanks, James. Turns out I had already seen them on the WAB forum (but they are worth looking at again). I obviously wasn't paying attention enough to notice the user names were the same. Look forward to seeing more, whether it be here, the WAB forum or in WI.

One of these days I'll have some more of my own to post, too.

Ah, nothing new then!  Still it's nice to see other folk interested in the war.  I liked the few models that you had shots of in the gallery.  I just need to improve my photographic technique to get the same results!
