Title: Son of a Duck.
Post by: tin shed gamer on 15 March 2021, 02:45:51 PM
Last year Lon asked me to make a Junk from Junk for him.

All went well and it was sent half way round the world.Where it literally went missing at his Doorstep.

Since then and post election. He's asked me to make another.
I've gone back over the original design and increased both figure access and versatility.
Here's a few pre painting throwing pictures.plus two of the MIA. Clever Duck.

Mark.

Wow, what a great surprise this morning Mark! Even better than the first that unfortunately foundered on the desperate reefs of the Guam postal system. I particularly like the steam powered ocean going version but they are all great!

Thank you for posting these TSG; I would like a junk for a Macao inspired riverside table I would like to build this year; something like that would be perfect.

Sorry for the delay in replying.
Work load has been through the roof of late. I'm halfway through painting the junk at the moment as I'm being extra careful with drying time's as its going to spend several weeks wrapped in bubble wrap as it travels across the world.

As for building a ships and boat's modular is definitely the way to go . Not that you need inspiration. But here's some of my other boats all have some modular / removable features.
