Hi Paul
Nice job - which horses did you use ?
Ian
-
Interesting, well done, looking good.
-
Cheers chaps, sash & sabre hussar horses used. I plan to use the guard lancer horses with the hussars, managed to get some mirleton heads from Andy at OGUK, need a bit of work on the saddlecloth, but should be good for a squadron of the Maria Luisa Spanish hussars.

Super work, the dappled grey is quite superb and the yellow on the lancer really pops. Really nice to see them. :)

Here is the rest of the squadron.
-
Few gaps to complete with the infantry, then move onto the 4th Hussars and then Dragoons.

Planning out next French infantry plus cantiniere and cart.

Superb!! The car is really top notch but all really cracking work. :)
-
Great stuff Paul
Did You do the conversions ?
Ian
-
Brilliant. You’re going to have a really unique set of figures there. Nice conversions.
-
Superb :-*

Thanks for the comments chaps, Ian, the conversions were done by Brian Rigglesford many years ago. Aiming to have a small collection loosely based on Suchet's campaigns in eastern Spain.

Paul ,
I should have realised as I remember that he’d done a lot of work for you - a major loss to the hobby and such a wasted talent - do you know what he’s up to now ?
Ian

Ian I have not heard from him for a number of years, it is a shame he dropped off the scene, such a talented man both with figures and buildings. Should just about have enough of his figures to make up a battalion march attack will also include standard S&S figures, and a mainly converted firing/adv battalion. All in campaign dress.
