Title: Wargames Atlantic Plastic Pulp
Post by: Admiral Alder on 08 April 2021, 04:22:54 PM
Before they become as hard to get hold of as the Wargames Atlantic Irish, thought I'd recommend people in the direction of the "French Resistance Partisans" box set from WA, found that even if the weapon options are a bit limited (too many bren and MP40s), these minis are exactly what I'd hoped they would be:

models straight off of the sprue with no conversions (so far  :) )

They look pretty good.  I'll try and get a sprue or two online.

Thanks

Any idea how they scale with other pulp minis? Copplestone, Pulp Alley, Pulp Figures, etc.

Alcide,
That would be my question as well. The plastics seem to run a bit smaller.

Jd’s Games on Facebook has done some comparisons

Alcide - I've compared them to a couple of Copplestone miniatures and I think they scale well:

Would have been great if one of the poses had been a female in a long skirt.

Perhaps with a 1940s camera and a beret. I suspect that they might release a female fighters box down the line?

It seems to be a popular subject on their FB page.

I got a sprue from eBay & quickly painted a couple.
Here’s a size comparison with White Knight, Artizan, Foundry, Pulp & Foundry

Thanks  :D

WhiteKnight did them a few years ago along with a grayscale spidermale  a Wondrous woman.

I bought a box to augment my French resistance.  When I start painting them, that is.  But your post now makes me think I need to save a few for my 1920s/1930s gangster games....
