The conversion is based on some Gear Krieg artwork. I used a cheap Armourfast Su-85 1/72 kit to start, the EKC is made of plastic-rod with additional plastic pieces to represent the outside magnetic projectors.

Gear Krieg Background:
One application of Tesla technology was the EKC "electrokinetic cannon," a combined energy projectile weapon of great destructive potential. The Soviets based this weapon on schematics from reverse-engineered German "Thor's Hammer" artillery guns, applying the same principles they had used to shrink the Tesla ray.
The result was a rudimentary combat railgun small enough for common battlefield deployment. Firing large armour-piercing rounds at velocities far faster than normal cannon rounds, the electrokinetic cannon became the primary weapon of the Russians' new SU-series tank killers.

Hello!
Good job, but in my opinion is seem "somewhat insipid", perhaps any energy container?
-
OK, OK...
What about this:

I added 2 crewmen (AB Minis) and the superscience engine stuff (GZG).
Pulpy enough? ;)
-
I don't think it looks right where the gun meets the sponson/mantel. Needs either thickening up or a cover added.
-
Wow! really cool and very simple. Sometimes there is tendency to overdo the "pulpy bits". This tank is just right.
-
I Like it with the new engine stuff & i agree with Gamer Mac, it needs some sort of mantlet posibly like a Saukopf one on the stug 3 ausf G

I'm not so sure about the machinery on top - vulnerable etc
but it ha sto look pulpy...
maybe some coils at the railgun/saukopf joint?
-
The line must be drawn here...
;) ;) ;)
Too late, the model is primed and ready for the paint! :D
-
funny game
should be played more often
-
I was thinking about this & perhaps the mantlet would be more of an aesthetics thing & would the russians be more inclined to be practical rather than aesthetical :D (if that makes any sense :?)
Any how can't wait to see it finished :D
