If you are not hung up on the robot aspect you could have a look at this gem from Antediluvian.

Other than that the only actual robot dogs that I recall are from Mantic.

I am sure there are more out there.

Gringo40s have two variants of robot K9s, but be advised that they are rather petite and may look more like cats next to chunkier 28s.

http://www.gringo40s.com/28mm-robots-scifi.html

Wargames Foundry did a model of Toby from Halo Jones, but the 2000ad range has been OOP for a couple of years now.

Finally, I know of the K9s from Artel W (Russian-based company from St. Petersburg):

BZ, Anvil Industries has 2 packs of cyhounds, diehard miniatures have a character pack ‘Eastern Territories and K-9 unit” and I’m sure there are others out there. I’m using an GW Escher Phelynx as my Guard dog.
Good luck with the search

Try the K9 Attack Dogs from Wayland Games: https://www.waylandgames.co.uk/enlightened/43731-k9-attack-dogs

They come as plastic kits, and you can easily shave off the rivets if you think they look a bit steampunk. Nice minis.

I was wondering the same recently and found an old thread on the subject - robot dogs (https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=113212.0). Quite a few of the same suggestions, but a couple of others as well.

I really like the Russian ones, although they may be too tall.

Not robotic, but Heresy's hell hounds look quite alien and Reaper do some odd looking dogs

The Wild West Exodus ones are nice, but large.

I used the Wild West Exodus ones in my Orlock gang for Necromunda, and they're large in comparison to them, so they'll be massive next to smaller 28mm stuff. GW have a number of cyber-mastiffs now, both in resin from forge world, and in the recent Orlock kit, but probably a bit expensive unless you also play Necromunda.

I was going to recommend the Orlock box myself.  At $42 retail (and about 20% off online with a bit of shopping around) you're getting eight figs that can all work for Stargrave pretty well, including two quite nice cyber-mastiffs, four pistoleros with bargain-brand jump packs (I'd use 'em as Runners myself), and a pair of champion types who can be either shooters or melee guys.  About $5 a figure isn't all that bad comprade to teh general market prices for minis these days, and they'd make a good core for a crew focused on speed.

Despite their well-deserved rep for abusive pricing, GW's Necromunda range is full of reasonable deals and figures that work well for Stargrave.  Certainly fielding my Van Saar as such.  Admittedly there are far cheaper choices out there, including the actual Stargrave kits, but unless you dabble in Forge World Necro's prices don't make you feel like an idiot for buying them.

There's also a fair chance you can find the bits for just the cyber-mastiffs on sale on the secondary market.  GW stuff is fairly well-served for that.

I really like the ForgeWorld one, and they have a couple of nice Squat figures. But yeah, the only price they seem to know is £19, which is more than a box of Stargrave figures from Northstar o_o

Again, not robotic, but I have a few original Squigs that may get repurposed - Squigs in Spaaaace :D

This seller on eBay sells singles from the Horizon New Dawn board game. The robots are excellent for Warhounds in Stargrave!

Anvil Industries has two rather decent ones that would work rather well.

They're in two packs, haven't seen them for a while but a friend was using one with a D&D game for his Artificer's iron defender. They'd looked more scifi than fantasy at the time.

If you want a more alien look, Reaper has the Guardian Beast, Crusaders Monster which works well for a dog like thing.

GW has a few cyborg wolves in the Space Wolves line.

This one?

That figure is huge when you see it in person, around the size of a horse.  I can't recall if the base is 40mm or 50mm square, but either way you can't fit the mini on it except on a diagonal.  Probably bigger than most folks would want for the relatively weedy "guard dog" equivalents in Stargrave.

That said, it does make a nice larger robot or golem or even a cyberspace program icon - the latter being the way I painted it for a Shadowrun game ages ago.

This 15mm monkey-bot is quite large in 15mm, but could work as a small-medium sized robot creature in 28mm:

I have one and will be using for Stargrave

Thanks again for all the suggestions!
Honestly, Im too much in love with the Orlock gang cyberdogs... But I wouldnt need the rest from that box (I also play Necromunda, according to the old rules, where arent any flying things). Should I dream on, or should I buy the set, and then sell the rest? Dilemmas over dilemmas...

Go check on ebay, there are individual cyber-mastiffs on sale from several sellers.  They seem stupidly overpriced to me compared to just buying the boxed set but if they're really all you want they're easy enough to get.  Current GW stuff is almost always available from sellers who split boxes and sell bits for  aliving.

Me, I'd find some uses for the other figs instead - or join the bits seller mob and flip them on ebay if you can.

I wasn't sure about the actual size, it's another I'd seen used for Iron Defenders...though that was a long while ago with games.

Strangely, they also have a pack of cyborg cats.
