Title: Samarai/Japanese period scatter terrain ideas
Post by: Kikuchiyo on May 19, 2021, 07:45:09 PM
I've some fab buildings from Oshiro but i feel I need more scatter terrain

I'm looking for period correct barrels and crates etc. so I make some baracades that 'fit'

Does anyone have any suggests - bough or self built. It would really help

on my to buy list ;)

But I'm also looking for something that would work as a baracade

The rice bales Perry make would work but the stacking they've used isn't quite right for what I need

The Perry’s have got their simple palisades that would work with some extra bits adding.

Its more the stuff in the foreground - looks like rice bails maybe? Perry do those too but they stack them up - if thet were individual it might work but as they are they look too uniform

Ah, got you. I have got masters of individual rice bails somewhere. I’ll dig them out and get them finished  :)

OTP Terrain has a farm yard bundle (link) (https://www.otpterrain.com/collections/samurai/products/farmyard-accessories-bundle):

I'm not sure if the bales are bundled like that or come separate though.

Thats the sort of thing but they only seem to come in the 3D farm set and you only get half a dozen - mostly as a bundle

I am sure you could ask about getting extra bails from the set.

OTP takes a long time to get stuff up to North America I've found, from Australia. There IS a seller of this set on eBay currently, but unsure of the quality of the print. I'm VERY surprised there aren't any Etsy 3D printers selling it there. There's quite a bit of 3D Alien Worlds stuff, but that set doesn't seem very popular.
